Let’s all be honest, by the time Liam was coming, we wanted a girl… I had two nephews and we were hoping and wanting a girl. But the day we found out Liam was in fact Liam was such a happy day! Another set of Roberts boys! Micah and Liam – “M” and “L” like Mario and Luigi! Way too cute! Liam was born and he is the cutest most yummiest baby in the world! When I miss Noah, now I can squeeze Liam and kiss him.
The Sunday before everything happened, he just wanted to come with me (he is a mama’s boy, so this was an anomaly). We hugged and I remember Laura even saying, “He wants to play with his cousin.” And it was true, he said goodbye to Noah that day…
I really wanted Noah to be a girl. I’ve mentioned it before. I wanted to bring “the special girl” into the family. Little did I know, I was carrying the most special boy, in his own way. I didn’t know what I wanted… but God knew what I needed. I needed my Noah to be a boy. And now I have, not one, but two baby Roberts boys to remind me of him. I cannot possibly imagine Liam, or Noah being girls.
I know I will see Liam and Micah play with their little cousin in heaven. When God allows me to have more kids, I am so excited to have our own Roberts boys’ club (it has been established that Roberts men only make boys, so I’m looking forward to meeting the rest of my baby boys)!
Happy first birthday, Liam! Thank you for all the love and the snuggles. Even in the darkest times, you bring so much joy into our lives! Auntie loves you so much!
